These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Atlas, a web-based IT infrastructure mapping platform operated at atlasmap.app ("Service", "Atlas", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Atlas provides a hosted platform for organizations to document and visualize their physical IT infrastructure (network equipment, cabling, safety devices, and related assets) across one or more sites using interactive maps. The Service is provided on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis.
To use Atlas, an authorized representative of your organization must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each organization receives a dedicated workspace accessible via a unique subdomain (e.g., yourorg.atlasmap.app).
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.
New organizations may receive a free trial period. During the trial, certain features (such as data export and print) are restricted. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue accessing the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account will be locked but your data will be retained for six (6) months, after which it may be permanently deleted.
Paid plans are billed annually. We accept payment via purchase order, check, and ACH transfer. Subscription details, including pricing and included features, are described on our pricing page and in the quote provided to your organization.
Subscriptions renew annually. We will send renewal quotes to your organization's registered administrators at least 60 days before the renewal date. If payment is not received by the renewal date, a 30-day grace period will apply during which access continues with restricted functionality (exports disabled). After the grace period expires, your account will be locked until payment is received.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 90 days' notice before your next renewal date. Price changes will not affect your current subscription term.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of documenting IT infrastructure. You may not:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data or any part of the Service's infrastructure. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems. Upload malicious content, malware, or files designed to compromise security. Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent. Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or bulk-download data from the Service beyond normal use.
You retain full ownership of all data you upload or create in Atlas, including site maps, device records, cable documentation, photos, and any other content ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Data.
We will not access, use, or share Your Data except as necessary to provide and maintain the Service, comply with applicable law, or enforce these Terms. We will not sell Your Data to third parties.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. While we perform regular automated backups of the database, we do not guarantee recovery of data in all circumstances.
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect Your Data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication with optional multi-factor authentication (MFA), session management controls, and infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in abusive or unlawful behavior, or fail to pay for a subscription after the grace period has expired. We will provide reasonable notice before termination except in cases of serious abuse.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for six (6) months. During this period, you may request an export of your data by contacting support. After six months, your data may be permanently deleted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that it will be error-free.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify registered account administrators via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@atlasmap.app or visit our contact page.
